It was day that homesickness to a beating, a day apprehension over studies was forgotten and a day when fun and frolic took the front seat. The official welcome party for the BSP and Semester 1 students, thrown by the SGA was a huge success. If ice breaking was the mission of the party, then rest assured it was accomplished for amidst fun in the water, beach volleyball and lip-smacking food everyone went home as friends.

The party gave the freshers, the much needed chance to get familiar with their seniors and faculty. It also allowed them to experience the charms of the island, a place they will be calling home for the next few semesters. It was also a chance for all the students to unwind and recharge before tackling the current semester headlong. With tons of pictures clicked and happy smiles everywhere, the day was roaring success.
