Overview of IAU College of Nursing & Paramedics: RN to BSN Program

This is an online program designed for Registered Nurses who desire to obtain a BS degree in nursing. The RN to BSN program requires 120 credits to graduate from the School of Nursing. As part of the application process, each student’s official transcripts will be evaluated by an academic advisor and applicable transfer credits awarded. Evaluation of both educational work and earned credits provides students with a seamless transition into the RN to BSN online program.

IAU will accept the 60 credit hours completed for the RN designation and up to 30 credit hours for work experience, completed continuing education, or professional development. At IAU, the RN to BSN program can be completed in as little as 30 credits.


RN to BSN Courses

The 30-credit hour program offered expands knowledge in areas of research, theory, leadership, community, concepts, nursing informatics, and current trends in healthcare. Graduates are prepared to function in new roles as members of healthcare teams in a variety of settings.
