Residency and Licensure

IAU has been successful in placing Canadian students into residencies in Canada.
Canadian students are eligible to participate in both the U.S. National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and the Canadian Residency Matching Service (CaRMS). Students must pass the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination in order to be eligible to participate in CaRMS. Visit the CaRMS website for more details as specific rules on matching in Canada do vary from province to province. IAU graduates have secured residency spots at coveted hospitals and are currently practicing throughout Canada. Our graduates have matched at University of Ottawa and Queens University to name a few.
