International American University welcomes Dr. Radbeh Torabi, integrated plastic surgery resident, Louisiana State University, to campus to share his experiences and offer advice to the students receiving white coats during the January 2016 White Coat Ceremony.
“We are very excited about having a medical professional of Dr. Torabi’s caliber and unique experience on campus,” said Mr. Manmadhan Nair, University president. “His real-world experience will help foster an environment of academic learning, continuing to build upon IAU’s innovative approach to providing a framework of knowledge unique to the region.”
The white coat was developed by Dr. Arnold P. Gold Foundation whose mission is to bring a more humanistic focus to medicine. The color white was chosen because it symbolizes cleanliness, purity and righteousness.
