Canada Student Loan Program

The University is approved by the Government of Canada and is listed under the Can Learn Master Designated List (MDL). As a result, students can apply for grants and loans under the Canada Student Loan Program.

Additionally, applicants to the College of Medicine may apply for the Medical Professional Student Line of Credit at any Canadian Bank or financial institution for their studies at International American University.

We offer a number of scholarship programs to recognize outstanding performance of applicants in various fields. Scholarships are awarded to new incoming students and are credited to basic sciences tuition for semesters one through four of the accelerated track or one through five of the five-term basic sciences track.

Scholarships are competitive and funds are limited so eligible students are encouraged to apply as early as possible in the semester. Applicants must complete the form below in order to be considered for any scholarship. All applications and supporting documentation must be received at least thirty days prior to the start of classes.

Please note that there is no guarantee of a scholarship and the number of scholarships awarded per semester may vary. All scholarship decisions are final and are not open to appeal. Questions regarding the scholarship application process may be directed to the Director of Student Services.
