The Caribbean Communications Infrastructure Program (CARCIP), an initiative of the Ministry of Public Service, Information, and Broadcasting in conjunction with International American University, hosted a 5 month ICT Skills Development Program.
The Program funded by World Bank provided free Training & Certification for unemployed youth between the ages of 17-35 years. The programme was for duration of 5 months. Trainees received 4 months technical training (minimum of 3 hours per week) followed by a two-week soft skill training prior to the commencement of a one-month traineeship. A total of 91 Students successfully completed the training at International American University, Saint Lucia.
The government of Saint Lucia and Caribbean Regional Communications Infrastructure Programme (CARCIP) will host the Graduation or the Award of Certificates Ceremony for the CARCIP ICT Skills Development Programme, graduates on Thursday, December 8th, 2016 from 2:00pm, 5th Floor Finance Administrative Centre, Pointe Seraphine, Castries.
