IAU Hindu Student Association celebrates the festivals to keep the traditions and culture alive. Recently on March 10th 2012, the association celebrated “Holi – The festival of colors” with lots of fun and delicious food. IAU is a melting pot of different cultures and partaking in Holi celebration encouraged everyone to blend in even further.

It was first time celebration for many of those who participated. Holi at IAU was unforgettable because it went beyond the colors. The prayer and the celebration made many of us to appreciate our strong connections with different cultures. During the celebration both students and faculty felt a sense of togetherness and goodwill. The red, orange, green, blue, yellow, brown and white all mingled as the heavy rain poured at the right time making everyone unrecognizable, but awed and happy about the unique experience.
