International American University (IAU) College of Medicine graduates have matched at coveted residencies through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) and the Canadian Resident Matching Services (CaRMS). IAU is proud of its graduates, who demonstrate their preparedness by obtaining residencies in some of the most competitive programs in North America. This past year students matched at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Pathology, VCU School of Medicine in Neurology, and Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital in Pediatrics, among others.

As the Affordable Care Act is executed and more baby boomers retire, there is a greater need for primary care physicians, that IAU graduates are more than capable of fulfilling. Many IAU graduates have distinguished themselves as chief residents, fellows, award winners, researchers and faculty members of the residency programs. IAU is confident that the success of this year’s graduating class will inspire future graduates and students to become empathetic, well-rounded physicians that will meet the medical needs of our global society.
