Happy smiles, terrific food and a sunny Saturday made the traditional Welcome Beach Party a roaring success. Organized by the SGA, the first ice breaker of the spring semester gave all our new students a chance to mingle with the senior students and the faculty. The lovely blue sea and the cool breeze perfectly set the tone for relaxation, fun in the water, soccer and beach volleyball. Leading the group were the SGA presidents Ali Ahmad (president) and Ify Oreala (former) who made sure that everything was organized, From the faculty and staff, Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Poudel, Dr. Alla, Dr. James, Dr. Soans, Dr. Sharma, Melissa and Marlon came to lend support. The event allowed everyone to enjoy Sandy Beach and experience the charm of the island which our new students will be calling home for the next few semesters. It was also a way of showing them our support and best wishes for the challenges ahead.
