The sun and breeze at the lovely Sandy Beach in Vieux Fort welcomed all our students for this fall semester on September 24, 2011 (Saturday). The perfect weather and sumptuous lunch (served by Scooby’s) set the tone for our IAU newbies to let their hair down and get acquainted with the rest of the student body. The faculty and the staff were present to show their support. Our Executive Dean, Dr. Alan Wabrek, Dr. Heston, Dr. James, and staff members mingled with the students. Organized by the SGA with its president Cary Bybee leading the pack, the day was highlighted by an impromptu volleyball game which lasted till sundown. Fun and eventful, the activity has set the semester indeed to a terrific start!
