The African Students Association organized 54th Nigerian Independence day celebration on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at MD 1 Class room. It was one of the most-attended and successful celebrations that started with Nigerian National Anthem by ASA members, followed by the presentation on Nigeria. The audience experienced lots of exciting things from Nigeria like the famous places, tourist sites, culture, including African food.

The main purpose of such event is to create an awareness of African countries among IAU students, faculty and staff. The event was attended by a large group of students.
