The students of International American University took a much needed break from their studies on Saturday 25th February, 2017 to host the “Multicultural Night/African Night.”
These events were held jointly this semester by the Student Government Association (SGA) and the African Student Association (ASA) at “Debbies,”an exquisite restaurant in Sapphire, Laborie, St. Lucia.
The event is aimed at showcasing unique cuisine and national wear of the wide variety of cultures represented at the University. It was an amazing night of fun, laughter, socializing and fashion statements.
The program was jointly directed by Yemi and Alexandria. The audience was serenaded with a beautiful rendition by Bolu, followed by exhilarating ASA dances, faculty performances and an MSA song. The night culminated in a fashion show of students, faculty and staff; closing off with a thank you speech by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rasheed Agboola.
