IAU in association with The Micoud-Ti-Rocher-Dennery Library and Micoud Health Centre, Ti-Rocher Health Centre, Bureau of Health Promotions and the St. Lucia Cancer Society oraganized a Health Clinic at Micoud on Friday, October 3, 2014 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month- Wear it Pink Health Fair Campaign at the Micoud Community Centre.

The event was designed to promote awareness of breast cancer in women and men in communities, schools and businesses. The activities included exhibitions, vital checks- pressure and glucose, breast examinations by nurses, and information sessions on self examinations and early detection. The event had a participation of about 150 people from and around Micoud.
